Depression
'Tis help that I need
In the form of a shrink
Someone with degrees
To bring me back from the brink
But my first visit
with wife at the side
Has me sure wonderin'
If I can abide
The guys are real nutter
I've got nothin' on him
But he finds me too hard
And palms me off onto Jim
Well Jims a real smoothy
And he helps in a way
But after only one session
He's off to Ireland for holiday
In six weeks I'll be back
Take it easy my friend
Keep taking those pills
And don't meet your end
Six weeks you say
Well it can't be all bad
All I need do
is try not to be sad
Well the pills were of help
I can't disagree
But a little more dosage
They've decided for me.
And then back from Ireland
I go visit Jim
I talk and I talk
And then listen to him
I'm sorry my friend
I'll know not of your fate
For I've taken a job
In a far off state.
And so once again
I'm back to my woes
Fighting the demons
That no-one else knows.
