Natures Grand Extravaganza
Copyright 2010 Russell Leslie Howells
Worms burrow 'neath the sweet
decomposing leaf litter and manure
Building and enriching the soil to
to ensure the rain-forests survival
Tall evergreens create a canopy
ensuring a micro-climate for the hundreds
of fungi that emerge and dance across
the moist,humid rain-forest floor
Cockroaches and beetles scurry about
searching for food amongst the litter
Each organism enacting it's part
in natures grand extravaganza
